Pen and watercolour on paper
This is mainly a watercolour sketch but I used a sepia pen to reinforce some of the pencil lines before laying in the colour. The photo I was using for reference is a holiday snap of me and my brother in Orkney, standing on one of the many beaches beside some crab cages. The weather was pretty dull that day, so the sunlight and colours in the sketch are a fanciful addition to what was an otherwise great holiday.
