Ink, gouache and watercolour on paper
Another quick one from my sketchbook. I've painted the swans from the Stirling University campus before - they're a great subject. I would like to say this one was done from life, but the weather is too miserable to be painting outdoors, so I'm making do with photographs.
I enjoyed using a mixture of ink, gouache and watercolour for this. They all work together quite well, but I don't really much experience using any of them, so there's a lot of experimentation and learning as I go.
