Gatehouse sketch
Another sketchbook piece, based on one of my holiday snaps from a little while back. I can't remember where this building was exactly. Somewhere on the Kintyre peninsula I think. We stumbled upon it unexpectedly and I remember liking how it was nestled almost secretly amongst the trees. I'm calling it a gatehouse but I'm not really sure that's what it is - or was. The sketch is done mostly in gouache and watercolour, with a little bit of coloured pencil here and there.
