This is the second attempt at a self portrait. The first one was the painting I started the blog with a couple of years or so ago. It was ok, but it a bit dull and lacked character. This one is much better. It's more interesting. More raw.
It's done in Corel Painter, mainly using the oil brushes, which I find great for portrait work.
