So, I've added in more detail and worked out a few more things in this final pencil drawing. I didn't really like the tricorn hat to be honest, so I've given this fellow a good head of hair instead. Nothing's set in stone yet though, so we'll see what further changes come about once I start the painting. I'm still not sure yet what I'm going to use. Watercolour and gouache might be a good choice, especially since the drawing is on good quality piece of hot pressed Arches watercolour paper, but I'll see how it goes. "Aye, it be hard makin' decisions sometimes!"
